Poverty Unlocked

Addressing poverty may mean providing a meal or a jacket for someone, but there is more. Poverty is all around us, all the time — no matter where you live.

Poverty Unlocked at RHMV began as a four-week course exploring the pain and suffering all around us. Together, we examined the roots of our brokenness, and God’s plan to restore all of it.

Because we believe it is a priority to serve through our local partnerships with like minds and hearts, we ask that everyone serving in one of our local partnerships that did not go through our original four-week course attend one of the newly modified quarterly trainings.  These trainings are compacted into a 90-minute format.

Poverty Unlocked is an eye-opening curriculum that has been developed by the international organization Food for the Hungry.
